My dad, our family friend LaFarr, and I decided to build our old computers in FPGA's.
At this site you can learn what board we bought (
B5-X300) and
why.
Also, we show code and design examples of many of our projects.
I'm most proud of my 6809 System On A Chip built on top of
John Kent's 6809 VHDL.
Also, my dad and I built a video display adapter. It's a 640x480
or 800x600 VGA display generator.
We also built a memory controller so that the CPU and the video
display adapter could read from single ported memory without contention.
